Portland Velo Club (PVC) started a group for just women. This group includes women of all ages that engage in various cycling events from triathlons, bike racing events, and charity rides. There is a growing need for venues in which women can come together and enjoy this sport they have come to love, on both a recreational and competitive level.

Gwen, never too late! We are still riding Saturday mornings (probably through the end of November), departing Cyclemania promptly at 7:30. Feel free to meet us there or catch us on Highland Avenue, by the parking lot overlooking the South Portland High School football field & tennis courts, at approximately 7:40. If you meet us in South Portland, don’t forget we’ll be the second group to roll through – the first will be the “big boys”. Hope to see you on a ride soon!
